Former Sabres Goalie Marty Biron got an unexpected gift basket from WNY Heroes for his previous support of the organization, after speaking to local students at Lancaster High School. Those same students recently heard from WNY Heroes, Inc. Co-Founder & President, Chris Kreiger & Program Coordinator, Lynn Magistrale. The cooperation between the school, the organization, and Biron has served to help educate young people about specific challenges that our Veteran community faces each day, and increase awareness of the organization in our community.

“I just want to send a sincere thank you to WNY Heroes and the many people who help donate to wny veterans . Without the help of this organization my kids would not of had a Christmas this year , I found myself unexpectedly laid off and in a financial crisis right before the holiday season. Not only did WNY heroes provide gifts & a great meal for my kids for Christmas, they also stepped in with assistance financially for rent as well. It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am, I’m speechless, thank you so much. You truly made a difference in this veterans life. God Bless!” – Army Veteran
